We strive to understand your specific requirements and identify suitable material through our global network of collection sites.  Once material is located, we use your specifications to narrow down the biospecimen options available to a smaller set of samples that most closely meets your needs. This ensures you receive the timely delivery, exceptional service, and superior specimens you expect, all from one biospecimen provider.

Logical Biological’s laboratory & office headquarters are located in the UK at Discovery Park, a purpose-built Research & Development site with world class laboratory facilities situated 1.5 hours southeast of London.

Stephane is an experienced executive with a successful track record in building fast growing, customer-centric businesses within the In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and Life Science Tool industries. Stephane was formerly CEO of MIP Discovery (renamed as Tozaro) where he led a strategic pivot from IVD to Cell & Gene therapy and three Series A funding rounds, securing ca. $18m of VC and Angel capital. Stephane was previously Managing Director of SCIPAC, where he led the privately owned IVD critical reagent business through a sustained period of expansion and diversification. SCIPAC was sold to BBI where Stephane held a number of senior positions. Stephane holds a Masters degree in Business and a degree in Applied Biology, and is passionate about building successful teams, driving product innovation and forging strategic partnerships.

Commercial Director
Lowri has over 14 years' commercial experience in the IVD, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical sectors. She has extensive experience working with global IVD companies on key biological solutions and supporting projects from R&D through to manufacturing. Prior to joining Logical Biological in November 2021, Lowri was Chief Commercial Officer at MIP Diagnostics and has held various other commercial roles including Global Key Account Manager at BBI Solutions and Sector Sales Manager at Biocatalysts. She brings a strong track record of building customer relationships, new customer acquisition and driving growth. She holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from Cardiff University.

Vicky joined Logical Biological in 2022 with over 25 years' of Finance, HR and Commercial experience. She has worked in a multitude of industries with global coverage and has extensive expertise in developing 'fit for purpose' systems and processes. Prior to joining Vicky worked alongside a number of start-up businesses to help develop their 5-year strategies and to secure funding and investment. She comes with a proven track record of successfully developing and executing growth strategies. Vicky is CIMA qualified and holds a Masters Degree in Business and Finance.
Andrew Conner

Andrew Conner

Procurement Director
Andrew brings over 35 years of diagnostic expertise to Logical Biological, latterly specialising in the strategic management of materials within this highly regulated industry. Prior to joining Logical Biological in April 2024, Andrew held operational and management positions in Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Operations in notable IVD companies including DiaSorin, Abbott Diagnostics and Murex Biotech, where Andrew was instrumental in driving impactful sourcing strategies, optimising relationships, implementing process and system integration efforts and introducing key operational improvements. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in applied biology, is a certified Lead Auditor and is APICS CPIM and Lean Six Sigma qualified.

James founded Logical Biological as he saw there was a need among human biospecimen customers for an improved level of reliability and responsiveness. He thought that putting customer service, accuracy, and quality assurance at the heart of the organisation would resonate with purchasers and scientists. James holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and has co-authored 5 academic research papers. James has previously held Business Development, Product Management, Operational and Commercial roles at Abcam and BBI Solutions.

Andy is the CEO & Founder of Insight Guide, an AI-enhanced platform designed to help associations grow their non-dues revenue while improving member engagement. Prior to Insight Guide, he co-founded Higher Logic and also served as the head of technology for 10 years at the Risk & Insurance Management Society. Andy is also an alum of the Harvard Business School.

In-fact one of our 6 company values set down as the founding principles of our company is “We do we what we can to reduce our environmental impact.” This principle is deeply embedded in our company culture, influencing our daily activities, and guiding our efforts towards creating a more sustainable future for everyone.

We were carbon neutral in 2023 for all scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions and in June 2024 we were awarded a Bronze EcoVadis Medal. Our 2024 Sustainability Plan is an extension of our achievements and we will continue to review our progress, reinforcing our dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices.
