Calprotectin Stools Available

The use of Calprotectin has dramatically altered diagnosis of inflammatory bowel diseases, such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. It is considered a reliable and non-invasive screening marker because it is resistant to degradation and has been shown to correlate well with endoscopic and histological assessment of disease activity.

We have a wide selection of Faecal Calprotectin available:

  • Confirmed diagnosis: Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative colitis
  • Measured values between 50 – 460 mg/kg (DiaSorin Liaison XL)
  • Measured values between 170-280 µg/g (BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA)
